Is Criticism Slowly Replacing Connection?

When was the last time your spouse felt appreciated more than corrected?

Negative criticism rarely inspires change, it often creates distance.

There’s a difference between offering constructive feedback and constantly pointing out what someone is doing wrong. Over time, repeated criticism can cause a spouse to feel inadequate, defensive, or emotionally disconnected.

Be mindful of your words to each other as  having a healthy relationship doesn’t ignore problems, but they should be  addressed  with kindness and respect.

Reflection: Are your words building your marriage, or slowly breaking it down?
