Committed love does not happen overnight in a relationship as it takes time to grow and develop. A couple that has true committed love does not just engage in romantic love which is super important but they also focus on supporting and genuinely loving each other daily.
Other ways to know that you are in a committed love relationship:
- Being willing to make your relationship work despite the daily struggles is called commitment.
- Expressing that you are interested in your spouse , it should not be hidden.
- You take time to do the things that makes your spouse happy ( let me say , in all cases, each spouse is to find their own happiness )
- You both are “all in” …..you are now a team
- You make each other your priority
- You work towards stability and security within the relationship
- You stay together and support each other in the most difficult moments.
- Your spouse makes you a part of their inner circle, you meet their family, close friends, and colleagues when possible, if this does not happen, you maybe in their hiding corner.
- You don’t forget the little things you both do for each other.
- You both take the time to consistently improve your relationship in the right direction.
- Remember to acknowledge the Lord in all things.
